Jamie Coward works as a groundworker by week and a motorbike racer by weekend. He’s spent the last nine years competing at the TT, and has become one of the event’s most successful privateers. In this episode of The TT Podcast he tells Chris Pritchard and Steve Plater how he balances working life with a career on the road.
Like many of the riders who’ve been featured on this podcast, road-racing is in Jamie’s blood. Jamie shares how his father’s influence and support has paved his way to what he’s achieved so far.
In August 2019, Jamie won the Junior Classic TT - but he’s never had a win at the Isle of Man TT Races. Seeded at number 1 for the Supertwin race this year, Chris and Steve find out how confident he’s feeling for 2022.
