This final Sidecar Race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT Races was a three-way battle between 16-times winner Dave Molyneux and partner Patrick Farrance, first race winners Conrad Harrison/Mike Aylott and John Holden/Andy Winkle.
Holden/Winkle took an early lead, with Harrison/Aylott just two seconds behind with Molyneux and Farrance further back still.
Lancastrian pairing, Holden and Winkle were pressing home as the race continued, flashing through the Grandstand on the opening lap. As they continued their pursuit for glory, Molyneux now in second, began to increase his advantage over Harrison/Aylott.
However, as the race drew to a close, one pairing encountered problems, which saw a shake up in the top three and another duo rocket to the front. It was the 17th TT win for the triumphant driver and a third for his partner, with a healthy winning margin of 43.9 seconds.
Other stand out performances included newcomers Alan Founds and Tom Peters who were rewarded with a sixth place.
