One sidecar racing duo dominated the class in the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races, taking home their second victory of the week and sixth TT win by a staggering 26.5 seconds.
John Holden and Lee Cain kicked off proceedings, taking a slender lead from the Birchall brothers Ben and Tom, with the formidable Manx duo Dave Molyneux and Dan Sayle in third.
Three early retirements saw a dramatic change in the leader board, with the Birchalls taking the lead from Holden/Cain, surging over the Mountain with a lap in excess of 115mph. Lewis Blackstock/ Patrick Rosney were also going great guns having moved up to third courtesy of their maiden 110mph+ lap.
As the third and final lap commenced the Birchalls were full steam ahead, but Holden/Cain were not giving up without a fight eating into the frontrunners margin all the while.
In the very last few miles Conrad Harrison and Andy Winkle, in their first TT together, also moved up from fifth to an incredible third – making for a dramatic and thrilling race all round!
