2017 TT Zero

The winning rider of this 2017 TT Zero race retained his crown from the previous year in a race time of just over 19 minutes.
Bruce Anstey and his Mugen Shinden teammate Guy Martin, got things off to a great start with both leading at the front, with Anstey careering into a 10 second lead.
Daley Mathison and his Nottingham University machine were in third, establishing a decent margin over his nearest challenger Dean Harrison, who was competing for Belgian team Sarolea.
As the race throttled on, Anstey was still just ahead of Martin, who clocked a faster time, but that didn’t stop Anstey raging over the last nine-mile Mountain section to try and take the winner’s podium.
With all eight starters finishing the race, the final winner took home his second TT Zero win, with Mathison claiming University honours in third.
