Bruce Anstey, the 'Flying Kiwi'. A legendary road racer from New Zealand, he has an outstanding Isle of Man TT career, highlighted by 12 TT victories, the first in 2002 in the 250cc Lightweight race, and his last TT the 2017 TT Zero.
A true testament to his skill and versatility, Anstey claimed wins across many classes including Supersport, Superstock then finally the Superbike, which had eluded him. Among his career highlights, he set a lap record in the 2014 Superbike TT, becoming the first rider to lap the Mountain Course at over 132 mph.
Anstey's achievements are even more remarkable given his battles with serious health issues, which saw him miss a number of TTs thoughout this career. Bruce Anstey remains an icon in motorcycle racing, admired for his record-breaking performances, resilience, and unshakable passion for the sport.
