2012 Superbike TT

Honda TT Legends rider, John McGuinness, fought off stiff competition from Australian, Cameron Donald, and New Zealander, Bruce Anstey, in this nail-biting Superbike Race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT races.
It could have been any man’s game as riders including McGuinness, Donald, Guy Martin, and Anstey all raced towards the leader board in the first half. With laps in excess of 130mph+, and only fractions of seconds splitting the group at certain points, it made for thrilling viewing.
By mid-race, McGuinness was maintaining real momentum, but Donald wasn’t going to roll over. Martin dropped back, which gave Anstey and several other riders including Gary Johnson and William Dunlop, the chance to fly into the top six. The eventual winner came home with a staggering 18th TT win.
One of the rides of the race was 23-year-old Dean Harrison, in just his second TT, he lapped at over 126mph to take a brilliant ninth.
