2013 Senior TT
27m
The 2013 Senior TT Race was probably one of the most thrilling races in the Isle of Man TT’s history, which saw the winner take home his 20th TT win, making it a record 41 podiums in total.
The first few laps of this race were nothing short of superb, as the gaps between the leading riders were minimal, with the first five riders lapping in excess of 130mph. Gary Johnson initially led the front but was quickly overtaken by Michael Dunlop who already had four 2013 wins under his belt.
John McGuinness, who had yet to take a win that year, made his move in the second lap, edging ahead of Dunlop by just five hundredths of a second! Lightweight TT race winner James Hiller, and Bruce Anstey were also battling it out for third.
It was nip and tick all the way to the end of this exhilarating race, with the thousands of spectators lining the track treated to an on-track duel between Dunlop and McGuinness. The final King of the Mountain took home his 20th TT win, by just 10.1 seconds.
