One rider grabbed his debut TT victory when he took a record-breaking Bennetts Lightweight Race right to the wire, winning by a mere 4 seconds.
Both James Hillier and Ivan Lintin smashed the old lap record as they battled it out right up to the chequered flag.
Hillier took the initial lead, but had several riders close on his tail, with fractions of seconds separating him and Lintin, Ryan Farquhar, and Lee Johnston.
It soon dramatically changed, when pre-race favourite, Jamie Hamilton took the lead with Lintin now only marginally behind alongside Hillier. Hamilton soon dropped back, with the head of the field really hotting up between Lintin and Hillier.
It all came down to the final few miles as the pairing climbed the Mountain one last time. The winner flashed across the finish line, breaking the lap record, and taking his first ever TT win.
