This dramatic Sidecar Race saw several duos take the lead position, making this any pairings race to win.
Brothers, Ben and Tom Birchall grabbed the early lead, closely followed by former winner John Holden and Andy Winkle, and Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance.
As the outfits swept through the second lap, Molyneux/Farrance were now rocketing in front, as the Birchalls sadly crashed out. The battle for second was hotting up as less than a second separated Holden and pairing Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott who had moved up from fourth.
Further drama unfolded as another leading pair retired, making this Harrison and Holden’s race to win – with only 0.9 seconds between them in the final lap.
The victorious duo took home their eventual win by 17 seconds, the driver’s maiden TT win having competed in the TT for over 21 years!
Local pairing, Karl Bennett and Lee Cain also put in a sterling performance taking fifth.
