Friday 8th June 2018 saw one of the greatest races in the Isle of Man TT’s history, when Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison battled it out for the historic trophy during a sensational Senior TT Race.
Lap, race, and sector records were all obliterated at this spectacular finale, where the pair played cat and mouse across the six laps, with the triumphant leader winning the race by just two seconds! The final lap saw one of the two riders cross the finish line with a new lap record of 134.918mph, which they held for only 45 seconds before being pipped to the post by the outright winner who set a new record of 135.452mph.
Other strong contenders included Manxman, Conor Cummins, Dunlop, Gary Johnson, and Josh Brookes, who completed the top six, with Brookes setting the fastest final lap by a Norton.
Newcomer, Davey Todd, had a brilliant week, completing the race in the top ten.
