This 2017 Senior TT race got off to a tricky start when the race was restarted after a major incident involving Ian Hutchinson, with the race restarted and shortened to four laps.
Michael Dunlop led the resumed race, with Bruce Anstey, Dean Harrison and 2017-star Peter Hickman quick on his tail.
Hickman quickly caught up to Dunlop giving him a race for his money, but Dunlop wasn’t relenting, knocking out an opening lap speed of 132mph+.
As the leading riders sped through the remaining laps, Dunlop was gaining momentum, but Hickman was matching him at every mile. Harrison was now up to third having pulled away from Anstey, with the former lapping his first ever 132mph circuit.
Going into the fourth and final lap, it was a two-man race to the finish line for Dunlop and Hickman, with Hickman reducing the deficit to Dunlop mile by mile! The final victor took home his 15th TT win, with second place taking five podiums from five starts in 2017 - making for a sensational finish to the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races.
