Dean Harrison and Peter Hickman were locked in a ferocious battle in this incredibly tight two-lap Monster Energy Supersport Race at the 2019 Isle of Man TT Races.
However, it was close across the leader board, with James Hillier, Conor Cummins, Jamie Coward, and Lee Johnston completing the top six in the opening lap – an amazing two and a half seconds covering them.
As the lap progressed, Harrison, Hillier, and Hickman remained close at the top of the pack - separated by only half a second.
As the race drew to a close, the trio continued to stay close, with Harrison and Hickman swapping the lead position several times - to the excitement of fans lining the course. However, it soon became a two-man race to the finish line for Hickman and Harrison, with the winner clinching victory by just 3 seconds - his first ever win in the 600cc category.
