The second Sidecar event of the 2013 Isle of Man TT Races saw another pair of debut winners.
Having been forced to retire in the first sidecar race earlier that week, former World Champions and brothers, Ben and Tom Birchall, pulled out all the stops to take on the first race winners Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle.
Conrad Harrison/Mike Aylott and Dave Molyneux/Patrick Farrance were also vying for podium places, but the Birchall brothers were persistent throughout this exhilarating sidecar race.
With a shock retirement late in the day, the winning duo triumphantly overthrew a pre-race favourite pairing by a comfortable 17.3 seconds. It was also their first victory on the Mountain Course – a superb win all round.
