Gas Monkey Garage by FHO Racing rider, Peter Hickman, already had several 2022 race wins under his belt, when he put in a showstopping performance at the closing Milwaukee Senior TT Race. Strong winds made this a challenging ride, with Dean Harrison, Manxman Conor Cummins, and his Honda team-mate, Davey Todd, also putting in stellar performances.
Harrison initially led, but his lead was only half a second over Hickman, who was on a mission to make this his fourth win of the week. Meanwhile, Todd and Cummins were only fractions of seconds apart in third and fourth.
By lap two Hickman had got the better of Harrison having charged up and down the Mountain with an opening lap of 132.381mph, now leading by an ominous looking 8.3 seconds!
At half race distance, Hickman had extended his lead considerably, while Harrison held onto second. Meanwhile, the battle for the final podium spot continued to rage between Cummins and Todd who had swapped positions several times. By lap four Cummins had nosed ahead of Todd, eking out a slender gap of just 2.7 seconds.
The eventual winner duly took the chequered flag by a whopping 16.9 seconds - his second Senior TT win, and ninth in total.
