One Manx/British pairing made this their second Sidecar Race win at the 2012 Isle of Man TT Races - the leading rider’s 16th TT win, and his fifth sidecar double win.
As with the week’s previous Sidecar Race, this was a fight between Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle and the TT’s third most successful competitor of all time, Dave Molyneux, and his partner Patrick Farrance.
Lack of adhesion flags were on display throughout this race, making for tricky driving conditions for the two favourites and brothers, Ben and Tom Birchall, who were keen to take their second podium of the week.
The leading three duos switched positions throughout the first half of the race, making for thrilling viewing. It soon became a two-horse race though between Reeves/Sayle and Molyneux/Farrance as they flashed across the start line to commence their final lap. The victorious duo completed their double win with a strong margin - a commanding 17.11 seconds.
